I just got the secondary for ACOM, and it says "ALL LETTERS MUST BE ON ACADEMIC LETTERHEAD WITH SIGNATURES AND ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS IN THE SIGNATURE LINE. LETTERS THAT DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE UNACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT BE REVIEWED."

I don't know if my letter writers submitted their letters on letterhead or with signatures, but they've all been verified by ACCOMAS. What should I do? I don't want to pay the secondary app fee just for my entire app to be thrown out because a letter isn't on letterhead with a signature.

Last year this happened to me. I called to ask why my app wasn't complete and they told me one of them was not signed. I was able to give them his email and they contacted the letter writer. There is no way to know if the letters are signed and on letter head unless you can ask the writers.

AACOMAS will mark all LOR's as complete when they are received. This does not indicate whether they follow the correct format or not.

You should've told your letter writers about this BEFORE you requested them to submit a LOR on your behalf.

The best course of action now would be to email each one of your letter writers to ask about this. This would be faster and more efficient then waiting for ADCOMS to tell you that your letters do not satisfy their criteria.

If you collected your letters on Interfolio and then sent them to AACOMAS, you could call/email interfolio and they can look at the letters and let you know if they're signed and on official letterhead. That's what I did and they emailed me back the same day.
