Im looking into applying to PhD programs, I have a Masters in Psych but no research experience and have been trying to get a job in research. There is a job at a university near me as a research associate for the Institutional Effectiveness dept; would a job like this help in PhD applications, even though the research is not in psych?
Some of the job duties listed are applying statistical methods to support institutional studies, designing and implementing surveys, and writing technical reports of research conducted.
Thanks for the help guys!
