ACRO Weighs In
Started by Chartreuse Wombat
Discussed in the ASTRO thread but probably should have had its own. Much more nuanced and common sense than what Astro put out initially

Looks like there's more of a difference in stances between ACRO and ASTRO than was implied on the ASTRO town hall, where my sense was these two organizations were more "in agreement."
ACRO supports Mantz over NV for ASTRO president via email to ACRO members today.
Interesting to see a specialty society weigh in on a different society's elections

Based solely on publicly available information, Connie Mantz should not be considered for any leadership roles in any of our organizations.
It's disheartening to witness this continue to happen. The field deserves better.

The current version of ASTRO? No.
But the legions of current and future residents who will treat tens of thousands of current and future patients do.
And, at the very least, other "independent" professional societies don't need to campaign on his behalf.

I’m very disappointed no one stood up against this accreditation thing in ROCR, but this was it for me.
