ACS ORGO 1/2 Final

I have my Orgo 1/2 cumulative final on thursday, it's an ACS test, which I have never taken before, basically i need to get a 92 on the final for an A, this works out to like the 74th percentile according to the website.

How hard is the test to get above 75th percentile, I am pretty good at orgo, and i am sitting with a 89 in the class. I also bought the exam review book, apparently they repeat questions?

I'm not sure if the standards have changed, but when I took the exam scoring a 92% (~64/70) put you well above the 75th percentile.

As far as studying goes, it will be pretty tough to cram for this test. Going through the review book is the best option just to get familiar with the types of questions and the formatting. You should be fine as long as you've been engaged in the course.

I didn't study for this exam.

I scored 98th percentile when I took it.

YMMV depending on your professor and aptitude. I was one of ~20 students in our ~60 person class that scored >90th percentile.

I go to a non-prestigious private school.

About half of the questions on the study guide were on my exam. It is sort of hard and you do have to study a lot for it. Just go over the study guide over and over again, but there is absolutely no way you can go over absolutely everything you need in time. In fact my school scales the grades they are so horrible.😀
