Hi everyone.
I really need advice on this. I just gave the SAT Subject tests in Chemistry and Biology and also the AP Chemistry test yesterday. Now I'm scheduled for the AP Biology test, the June 1st Literature, Physics and Math1 SAT Subject tests AND the June 8th ACT. Because of all of these tests being so close together, I'm not going to get a lot of time for ACT prep.
Should I request a test date change to the September ACT? I thought that I'll get plenty of time for prep this way.
Should I or should I not (In your opinion)
Oh and btw, I'm self studying my AP's. I'm an international student in Pakistan and my school did not offer AP's.

if you're going to get more studying done you'd likely score better, so why not? I could understand it'd be a little later so you may have to edit your college applying list, but you should have enough time. My opinion - take it in September so you'd have time to score better; if not you may end up re-taking it anyway.

Good luck either way! 😀

You could just take it and see how you do. May surprise yourself! Then you could take again September if you wanted. Just an idea

^ that is also a good idea! do that lol (if you have the money/waivers of course)

I'm going to take it in September now. But how will I have to narrow my college list down? I'll still have time to apply. I'll get my scores by the end of October. Even if we consider EA. For example for Harvard EA, the last testing date is the November test.

I studied for a month, HARD, with the ACT Prep Book, and scored a 29 my first try. It's expensive but I recommend it, September will give you more time to study but you'll have to wait until possibly October to get your scores back, which could make the application process harder.

I'll definitely be taking it because registration for the September test hasn't begun yet and I can't change test dates. So I'll take it now. And register again after I get my scores in July.

That's cool, like they said it may help you get accustomed to the timing and what not.. Anyway, hope all goes well and good luck!
