I know that Actin is composed of microfilaments. But what Is myosin composed of? I know that myosin is referred to as "thick." What are the actual components?

my guess would be because the thick filament is made up of many of the myosin molecules. Myosin is made up of many ATP-dependent motor proteins reponsible for the contraction, where has actin is made up of structural proteins
