I don't have a link, but, if I'm not mistaken, the AOS v ABO case determined that any board can claim board certification in optometry. Therefore, NBEO certified=board certified.Could you post a link to this ruling? Thanks.

And it doesn't explicitly say that I can call myself "Board Certified".
Well, I think in most states you're allowed to list it on the CAQH and check the box on insurance applications, although I think it has no bearing on anything. My point is that if any panel accepts board certification for optometry, NBEO is now as valid as any."Therefore, NBEO certified=board certified."
Not according to my state board. I cannot publicly state that I am "Board Certified".
