Adcom here definatly reads it. Although, I'm pretty certain they could care less you are personally, and more about what you have to say about the school (ie use it as a "how can we improve" tool).
Don't forget that a lot of schools have many students on the adcom, which obviously could be perusing SDN, not just Asst. Deans and Vice Pres. etc.
