I am re-posting this thread with a different tittle( more informative) because I think this information is very important to pre-dents. This is what I found as significant in each file ( just go to the site below, and click on each file to view these):
Volume 1: Academic Programs, Enrollment and Graduates :
-Page 21-23 shows what educational background the students that matriculated to each school had( ex: bach/masters/PHD).
-page 26-27 shows how many students had to repeat a year.
-Page 36-39: State of residents of 1st year students to each dental school.
-Page 61 shows all the costs of the dental schools.
- Page 73 shows what specialty programs each school has to offer.
Volume 2: Tuition, Admissions and Attrition
- page 15: shows costs of all the dental school( in more detail than volume 1) .
-Page 40: importance of DAT scores used by admissions.
-Page 47: number of international students admitted to each school.
-Page 66-67: Importance of other factors used as admissions criteria by Dental Schools.( for example: Midwestern: Total DAT score of 6 individual scores( not including the 2 aggregates) are very important).
Volume 4: Curriculum
-Page 19 total hrs spent in class/week, as well as total hours spend in class for the 4 years ( of 3 if its UoP).
-Page 31-35: number of hrs spent learning procedures dealing with different areas of dentistry.
Survey of Advanced Dental Education: pg 51-56: shows how many applicants each school has for their specialty programs, as well as how many they accept to each specialty program.
