in the ada specs page, they refer to the topics :

Experimental cell biology
Experimental embryology
Genetic technology.

What are these topics referring to? Are these topics covered in the kaplan blue book and shaums (where in shaums?). I would really appreciate it if someone can clarify what these topics mean by elaboratiing on them a bit and giving subtopics associated with them (ill probably just look them up on wiki after).

thanks

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it's referring to genetic engineering or something to that nature.

Ok, I took that DAT today and nothing of that nature was on there. They simply added that so they could increase the amount of material that could be put on the test. If you read any good bio book, it should have, within respective chapters, information regarding cell biology, such as cloning, Synthetic DNA Duplication, etc...Mostly this probably covers new techniques used in the scientific field, or techniques that are of major scientific importance like those mentioned above.

some people that took the test metioned they had questions about recombinant DNA technology, cloning and stuff like that.....destroyer covers it pretty well in the last few pages of bio questions....u can prolly just wiki or google it too. Most kaplan stuff is outdated, and those 3 topics were added as of 2005 (according to that topscore pda file) so i dont think kaplan covers it.
