I know the ADAT is relatively new, but any experiences of it in regards to studying and scores? I did a SDN search and read that people generally studied for 1.5-2 months. I'm a practicing dentist so I'd have to study for it after work and on weekends.

What is considered a good score? I've read that some interviewers did not even mention it when people scores 95+ percentile.

Are ADAT Knockout and Hero enough?

Thanks

I'd say 85th percentile and higher put you in a good light with programs, I got in 90th percentile and it was mentioned a few times during interviews. Depends on the program though. I used ADAT Knockout and reviewed first aid II and i felt those two were enough to get the job done. If you're working full time, i'd give yourself more like 3 months to study, its a tough exam with the volume of material

Thanks. I'm hearing so many mixed opinions of the ADAT... but I agree maybe I'll give myself more time to study since I'm working full time. Too bad the testing dates aren't even released.

Can you take the ADAT the year before you apply to specialities? Or must you have an ADEA pass application set up?
