Have yall ever known enough about an applicant thru posts (Stat sigs, WAMC, general discussions, etc.) and you liked an online persona enough that you wanted to interview them in person?

I guess when typing this out it sounds like online dating, just med school edition.

For instance, you recognized them via their stats, ECs, stories, etc. I'm certain it's highly unlikely given how many apps you guys look at, but it would be a pretty funny connection.

I think this question has been asked elsewhere before, to which adcoms replied: nope. Too many students to tell. Only in extraordinary cases like once in a decade sort of thing

I like learning. My school year this year is a biotech research year, so I am not learning. Might as well learn, I guess by virtue of already accidentally purchasing something I don’t need or want.
