adcoms see where you've applied?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
never mind, i answered my own damn question.

can u answer it out loud...for me

While admissions committees cannot see where you've applied for now, around March-April they'll be able to see where you've been accepted.

hahaha... my thoughts exactly

Johnny

At a med school admissions seminar, an adcom from UCSF said that they admitted a guy because he was a good candidate but only applied to UCSF. This makes me believe that they can see where you apply to.

Where do you guys derive your information from?

Maybe he told them that info in a secondary or at the interview?

If I thought only applying to UCSF could get me in, I'd be a richer woman right now...

Can't believe that I actually looked it up, but page 58 of the AMCAS 2005 instructions:

"Medical schools do not receive a listing of the other schools to which you have applied."

Everyone should read the entire thing before posting, thanks for doing so, though.
