I am going to get one more letter of rec after a week or so on my current rotation. Will I be able to add that to the programs I've already applied to? I mean it does it have to be preassigned/precreated in the documents section before I even ask because I can always add it later, right?

Sure, you can always edit/add/delete LORs to each program after you submit your app.

Excellent. I knew it made sense but you know how applying to programs that will effect the rest of your life will make you become a tad nervous. 🙂

i am in the same boat....won't it take a few weeks for the LOR to be uploaded to the post office?

so programs started downloading the applications but without letters, so are they going to download it again once LORs start becoming available?

Yes, programs do regularly check for any new LORs,etc in an applicant's file.
Good Luck.

Every time programs contact the ERAS post office they download all documents in the queue. They have an Applicant Activity icon so they can instantly see exactly what files they have downloaded for each applicant.
