I have already e-submitted and my app has been verified. These are the schools I have applied to:
VCU (in state)
NYU
Temple
Louisville
Case Western
Widwestern IL
Buffalo
Maryland
I am not applying to Boston or Tufts because they do not accept pre-reqs from community college and some of mine are. And I applied to Buffalo and Maryland because I have two dentists that will put in a good word for me at those schools.
These are my stats (verified):
BCP: 3.3 (these are all with +/- inc.)
Science: 3.15
Non-science: 3.47
DAT:
AA-20
PAT-22
QR-16
RC-22
Bio-18
G-Chem-22
O-Chem-22
TS-20
Also, Huge upward trend in GPA. After finishing two years of community college my GPA was 3.17 and now I just finished my first year at my 4 year college and got a 3.55 GPA there with a very science heavy course load . About 500 dental related hours, paid and volunteer, I had a dental assisting job. About 200 non-dental related volunteer hours. Strong LOR, biology research which might be published soon.
So.. my question is are there any other schools I should apply to where I have a chance?
Also, my individual science GPAs (verified):
Bio- 3.33
Chem-3.08
Physics-3.67
so my chem GPA is low but I am hoping that my 22g-chem score and 22o-chem score with help with that. And the 3.67 physics GPA helping out with the low 16 QR score. What do you guys think?
Thank you very much in advance for the replies 🙂
