Addiction Medicine Fellowship Opening For July 2025 start.
BayCare Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program will welcome the first class of fellows on July 1, 2025. Accredited by the ACGME, it is a one-year fellowship designed for physicians who have completed a residency in their primary specialty and are seeking advanced training in the field of Addiction Medicine. Applicants must have completed an ACGME accredited medicine or psychiatry residency to be eligible.
Clinical training includes diverse rotations in both community-based outpatient and residential treatment settings, as well as hospital-based inpatient consultations. Core rotations and continuity clinics focus on patient-centered communication and integrate primary care with addiction medicine services.
Primary rotations take place in New Port Richey.
