Adding more schools this late?

I have zero interviews thus far, and although I know it is still fairly early in the cycle, I was wondering if it would be too late to add more schools at this point? I have low stats and applied to all schools that I would have a good shot of getting into and still no luck. I was complete in mid-August at all my schools.

it's LATE in the cycle; many schools are now 2/3rd full, and you can bet they're going to be pickier. You don't want to be a reapplicant at every school, do you?

Patience is a virtue, panic and the need for instant gratification are not.

And by 2/3 full do you mean most schools have sent out at least 2/3 of their interview invites?

Another adcom has said that 2/3s of their IIs were sent out at his school this time a month or so ago.

I'm of the belief, however false it may be, that it's not over …. NOT over! That is, have hope that you chose the best you could at the time you selected the schools. Wait. Just wait. I have heard some schools have barely gotten through everything. This friend in a med school admissions said her top-25 school has only sent out invitations to those who fit very specific, highly selective criteria. Many more are to follow. If you sent anything out now, it'd be a waste of time and money. If you have to, reapply next year.
