Hi guys,

I know it says in the PTCAS instructions manual that we can still add more school designations after e-submitting the application - as long as their deadlines haven't passed, but I heard some horror stories about people adding something or other to their application they thought they could add and then their application was considered to be submitted after the deadline... Anyone has experience of adding more designations and not having it affect the application date for the schools with an earlier deadline?

I believe you could designate more programs at a later time but your application is all set and locked for any further changes once you submit for the first school.

I'm having the same concern now that I'm not done with my essays while having to beat Azusa's deadline tomorrow...decisions decisions

From my understanding, once you hit "submit," you can still add references, observation hours, GRE scores, and designated schools, and during the winter academic update, you can add classes and grades.

These things, however, are locked after submitting:

  • Personal Information
  • Background Information
  • Colleges and Universities
  • Extracurricular Activities
  • Honors
  • Work
  • Essay
  • Certification and Authorization Statements
