Adding teeth to VALPLAST?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You can't do it with repair acrylic, it's got to go to the lab.

Valpast repair/addition work can be done, but as mentioned before it's NOT a chairside procedure. Most labs that offer Valpast can typically turn a repair/minor addition (1 to 2 teeth) in 2 to 3 working days (at least that's what the 2 labs that I use for removeable can do it in).

Just got to inform the patient, and if your adding a few planned teeth, typically talk to the lab before so that you can give the patient an accurrate estimate of the time they'll be without their partial

Sticky wax the tooth in place, duplicate the denture in house for the patient to use temporarily and send the original denture to the lab...

Put some good-sized mechanical retention boxes in the denture base and then add the tooth back with repair acrylic.

Best repair would be to send it to the lab.
