Kung Foo, Standford Fencer mean ADEA (American Dental Education Association), you know the people we did AADSAS with.
ADEA actually has their own Pre-Dental and Pre-doctoral student memberships just as ASDA. ADEA is more an educational front organization. I was a member back in 1998-2001, but recent years I just didn't see a benefit to continue my membership with them.
As a previous ADEA Pre-Dental member, I received ADEA News Letters on what's going on with US dental schools around the country, who got promoted, what school is doing what, and which professors are transfer to where.
Membership dues are inexpensive, to me it was a great AADSAS application boost for the extracurricular activities and involving in dental related organizations section of the application.
Standford Fencer, I take it that you're a current ADEA Pre-doctoral member, any benefits that you can share (besides meeting OMS directors from other dental schools 😀 )?
