What are your thoughts on Adelphi's BS/DO ?
What are the requirements from high school and accepted stats? MCAT required?
What are the pros and cons?

I Googled "Adelphi BS/DO" and it took me to the website showing the participating DO programs, links to the page showed requirements.

Don't do it. Go to undergrad normally and work hard to be able to apply to MD schools and if you don't do well enough for MD you will end up at a DO school anyway. I would never do a BS/DO program.

This program has no MCAT requirement, 20 minutes distance from my house, cheap, decent DO school, and I know people who go there. An I'm not smart, so if I get in that would be my save.

If dodging the MCAT is your ticket to med school you should find a better plan than that friend.

Its not the only road, but it will definitely make everything a little better, don't you think?
Shouldn't I take the road less traveled by, if it will make all the difference?

I guess a more constructive point is to not sell yourself short. Work your butt off and you'll have way more opportunities than the one or two schools you're set on with tbat program

No. Some roads are less traveled because they suck.

Then let it be your backup through the normal route, don't handcuff yourself before you even start.
