Precedex gtt for super-active ADHD with lots of behavioral problems.....
Partner did it the other day...dental rehab, put patient on Precedex gtt and continued it in the PACU until right before when upstairs. Worked VERY well to keep him calm but not too sedated. I think he used a lower dose...0.3 or 0.4 mcg/kg/HR.
Just FYI incase anyone comes across this type of patient.
