Adice for this situation...

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Your DAT is good; there's no point in retaking that. Your shadowing and volunteering look good.

To be honest I'm not sure what you should do on the academic end since you've finished your masters at this point. The problem with your master's, as I'm sure you're aware, is that it isn't that much better in terms of GPA as compared to your undergraduate GPA. Yes, there is an improvement, but there is not the dramatic improvement that I believe a lot of dental schools would be looking for. At this point I would say apply really, really broadly.

You could potentially go do some postbacc work, but I know some on this forum would be concerned that that might be viewed as taking a step back. And honestly any more coursework is going to be worthless if you're not getting something that resembles a 4.0.

As I said I'm not sure what you should do on the academic end. I think you should attempt to talk to some admissions officers to see what they would have you do in that respect.

Good DAT, decent GPAs, applied to alot of schools and early.... I think you'll get in somewhere.
Review the interview feedback found here in SDN, you'll get a idea what kind of questions each school like to ask. I don't believe in preparing answers before an interview because it looks obvious, however, seeing the questions before walking in prevents you from being surprised.

overall, I think ur application is solid
