With 2600 applicants who wouldn't try and come up with a system to sort through the piles off apps faster? They still interview so a human factor is still present. While a formula may not be ideal, I don't see this as a disaster.
The goal of any dental program should be to produce good dentists not acquire students that are good at taking exams.
Well you can truly test the ability of every dental school if they all ran an experiment...
Each D-school can admit 50 14AA students and see how far they get in life, say in the next 10 years.
