Admission Probability at Meharry

Hey guys,
A friend of mine wanted to get an opinion about his chances of admission this year at Meharry Medical College.... So please provide some feedback.
He is a non-minority, 3.25 Overall and 3.18 Science GPA, 28 MCAT (10V,9B,9P). He has decent extracurriculars, volunteer activities, as well as a lot of work experience.
He got an interview from them last year, and is only applying to them this app cycle.
So let him know what you think (or any advice)......

As far as Meharry is concerned, I don't know much about the school. I'd have to say his GPA is low, but MCAT is fine. If he's serious about medicine, I'd advise applying to more than just one school. The average applicant applies to 11 schools. Just because he got an interview there doesn't mean he'll get one this year, or if he does, that he'll get accepted. What has changed from last year to this year on his app that makes him a better candidate?
