Hi,

My NBDE Part 1 score is 85.
ECE GPA is 4.0

Are there decent chances of admission. Could anyone please guide me?

hi i guess there are chances but they really like it when u have some work experience ...i guess u must try and focus on that ...like get some observership ....da....do some short courses ...etc get some really good reco letters which really help ...

Absolutely, I still hear about people getting admission with similar scores, obviously the whole package is also important

Get some US experience (if you have not already) and go for it.

You have 4.0 GPA i.e excellent. i would suggest you to retake part 1, get 88 or 90+. Apply in several schools. I am sure you will get into one, especially east coast universities where they focus more on GPA along with NBDE Part 1 score.

same advice from me as mentioned above. retake part 1 unless you have plenty of work exp. Get 88 or 90 +. and apply in different schools. you have good GPA. Good NBDE will increase your chances.

To me, any GPA above 3.5 is considered excellent.

you definately get admission at nyu because they mainly concern about GPA

and you have excellent GPA so don't worry and be ready for interview

hiii im sorry i not sure about BU coz wt i have heard is that BU has accepted the minimum score of 87 in part 1 this year. but they have rolling addmissions so may have a good chance!!!
