Admissions Consultants?

I am thinking of using Liza Thompson Consulting... I have seen the testimonials on her site and they seem compelling. I would use SDN, however I am not an excellent writer nor interviewer.

Has anyone personally or heard of anyone who has had good results with her services?

If you want to drop some cash for information you find on the internet for free, then go right ahead. These types of agencies prey on applicants who can't be bothered to take the initiative to figure it out themselves. Are you also going to hire a consultant when you apply for residency? For a job? It's time to grow up and put on some big boy pants.

Better to get an opinion of different people (including various adcoms) and come to your own conclusion, then from one person.

And we are all sitting here doing the same thing but not charging $325 per hour. We're doing it all wrong apparently.
