Has anyone found that they were above the averages (gpa, pre-req gpa, GRE) a school has listed on their website and NOT gotten in? I'm curious. If anyone has any input that would be great! Thanks

Current stats:

GPA: 3.96
pre-req GPA: 4.0
GRE: 155 V, 154 Q, 4.0 W
Hours: 112 (45 inpatient, 45 SNF, 22 pediatric school setting)

Not in my case particularly, but from threads I've read over the years, it has happened, yes. I've seen people with low GPA, GRE and everything else and get in, while someone who has stats like you be denied from quite a few places. Not sure what it was based on (if the applicant applied too late or was even granted an interview).

You have very solid stats, but I think trying to get more PT experience/hours might help also. Having extracurriculars and strong LORs will also help.

My stats are nowhere near as high as your's and a little below the average stats based on stats from the last few years, but I had a lot of extracurricular, outside experience, and PT hours. I think my LORs also really helped me.
