Hey, does anyone have a number where I can reach SOMEONE in the U Conn admissions office?? i was placed on "hold" and I really want to speak to someone. I left a couple messages 2 wks ago, and another one last wk, no one has returned the call 🙁...thanks!!

It's not you, it's them...

For what it's worth, I don't think you should take this as any indication of their interest in you - my calls that they never returned were from after they'd already accepted me. In fact, I was asking questions related to choosing between schools, so I'd assume they'd be trying to impress me now. I think they are just busy/slow/disorganized/whatever for everybody, regardless of why you're trying to reach them.

Maybe it's time to drive out to Farmington and start knocking on doors?

seriously, if it comes to that, i might just take a train up there next sunday. any clue how to get there from the city? i applied because its in the tri-state area, but honestly, ive been to CT like 3 x in my whole life (and once of those three was accidental lol)
