Hello all,

I was just wondering...
After having a number of frustrating experiences with admissions offices (lack of responses, or VERY delayed responses...marking my file as incomplete, even though I sent everything together and they got half of it..things like that), do you think that the admissions office people are representative of optometry schools themselves? Not to say that all of the schools are bad with that stuff, as there are a number of schools I have had very good contact with. Schools like Berkeley, that are known to have a strong program are very good at keeping up with their applicants and helping them out...
What do you think? Just curious. Have a good day! 🙂

I have found that all the schools are good, and some Admissions offices just work differently from others. That doesn't change how the school is, though, and I would see the school for yourself before judging it just on the Admissions office. Of course, it doesn't help an opinion of a school, but I'd say it's not a deal breaker. Once you're in, you won't be dealing with Admissions anyway.
