These are the admission requirements for getting into a dental school in Houston....

General Biology - 14 semster units
General Chemistry with lab - 8 semester units
Organic Chemistry with lab - 8 semester units
Biochemistry - 3 semester units
English - 6 semester units
Physics with lab - 8 semester units

Biology...What does "General" include? Botany, Zoology, A&P 1, A&P 2, Principles of Biology 1, Principles of Biology 2, Physiology, Genetics, Nutrition? Can I take any biology classes I want to, and these dental schools will accept them as being "General" Biology courses?

General Biology is freshman biology. It's the name of the actual class and it's the prerequisite to all the classes you've listed.

You can take whatever biologys you want, but you have to take principles 1 and 2 since they are prereqs to the advanced biology classes. Then I would go for the A&P, and physio. Be careful A&P at a CC may not count because it is usually geared towards nursing students. I found that out after taking the class and took another biology just to make sure.
Those classes will cover the prereqs and DAT topics.
