Hey guys,
I stumbled upon this site while finishing my applications. I guess I'm just looking to see how competitive my application is seeing that it is late. AADSAS did not receive some of my transcripts so I had to resubmit and it took them till about 5-6 days ago that they verified my GPA and sent out my apps. I'm applying to NYU, VCU, UMD, UPENN, WVU, Howard, and Temple. My GPA is 3.3 cumulative and 3.5 sciences. My DAT scores are PAT 23, QR 22, RC 21, Biology 19 =(, GC 20 =/, OC 22, TS 20 =/, AA 21. I have over 5000 hours shadowing because I have worked as a dental assistant for 6 years. My whole thing is since my application was delayed, I heard you don't have a great shot of getting an interview spot when you apply in September or October. My dad went to UPENN so I don't know how big on legacy dental schools are. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
