Hi all,

I need some advice. The dean of admissions from the school I want to go to is coming to visit today and I wanted to see what the best course of action is. I want to introduce myself but I also don't want to make a bad first impression. Advice please!

Thanks!

My advice is to listen and ask questions if you have them. Don't try to invent questions just to seem interested or whatever and don't be overly pushy about getting face time with them. The fact of the matter is that they aren't likely to remember you, and those people they do remember are probably negative interactions. This isn't supposed to be an interview or a chance to get your foot in the door. They do this kind of thing to raise interest in their school and to be a source of advice and guidance, not to scout out prospective students.

Show up naked.

See it will leave an impression because everyone else will be wearing clothes most likely.
