Do they only look at the required pre-requisites for their school? Or do they take into account your entire course work? I've taken a 'lot' of extra classes that I'm hoping will make me more competitive but I don't know exactly how 'much' better it'll make my application look.
The 'extra stuff' I've taken includes:
Biochemistry
Hematology
Neurobiology
Pathogenic Microbiology
Introduction to Pharmacology
Medical Pharmacy I
Medical Pharmacy II
Immunology
Genetics
Microbiology
Quantitative Biological Methods
Molecular Biology I/II
I'm indeed getting a bachelors with this 'extra stuff'.
Has anyone here been on an admission board or know what classes they emphasize? Will admissions see my transcript and be like "😎"... he should do well in his P1 year -- Or are extra classes a minor bonus for admissions compared to high PCAT scores, extra currics and pharm experience?
