An advisor from Western University said that she heard "high praise" from another admissions advisor that I had a virtual appointment with back in June. Is this a good sign? Do admissions advisors have a say in vet admission decisions?

IME admissions counselors never discourage people from applying and are very friendly. They’re there to hype up the school and give you information that can help when applying. I wouldn’t count them recognizing your or being friendly as an assurance that you’ll get in.

I mean it’s obviously not a bad thing, I just don’t think it’s worth placing much weight on
