Sorry if this has been discussed before. What are you guys doing when applying to programs and ERAS is giving you the choice to apply for either advanced or categorical slots? Is it harder to get interviews for one of the two choices? Are any of you applying to both advanced and categorical for the same program? That could get expensive pretty quick, but I guess I'm willing to do it for a certain few programs if it increases my chances to get an interview there. Anyones opinion from years past is greatly appreciated as well.

It does not cost any more to apply to both categorical and advanced at the same program. This is explained in the ERAS website. So why not apply to both at the same program?
