Program-Specific Info / Q's Adventist University OT Fall 2015

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I actually applied to adu and I am still waiting to hear about an interview. Applications were due March 1st

I went to the open house for the school and was fairly impressed with the school and their professors. They seemed to give the impression that they look at the student as a whole (GRE, letters of recommendation, Observation hours, work experience) instead of just academics like many schools. Talked to a few current students of the program who had nothing but great things to say about the program. I also applied for this cycle and am waiting to hear back but they did notify us that interviews would be this friday 3/27 and next friday 4/3. Still trying to be hopeful even though those interview dates are coming up very soon. Best of luck.

2016-2017 applicants to the Adventist University in Orlando.....has anyone heard anything at all from them?

I just did! I got an invitation for an interview. They are interviewing March 15, 18, 22, and 25. I'm not sure if they are having interview dates after that or not.

Congratulations and good luck!....I can only pray she gets an interview....when did you receive the invitation?

Thank you I appreciate that! I received the email yesterday. I believe they are interviewing around 30 people during those dates.

I also got an invitation to interview but I will be passing up my spot as I have received other acceptances. Good luck everyone!

daughter got her invitation to interview today!!! Whhhooooo hoooooo! She said she counted the interview slots and there were 57? The website says they take 30. She is at UF now and has applied to that program too, but they don't interview and they don't find out until April. According to my daughter FGCU and UF are less expensive than Adventist, so that could have an impact on her decsion.

I noticed on threads from last year you applied and obviously was rejected because you applied again this year. It looks like you were much more successful this year.....may I ask what you did between last year and this year? Daughter applied to 4 and has been rejected at two waitlisted at one and waiting to hear from another. My heart is breaking for her, because I know she is a hard worker and can do this; however I know things happen for a reason and she can work and save money so she doesn't need to borrow so much to complete grad school. Any words of encouragement?????

I decided to attend Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers! I plan to do my masters there and pursue my doctorate at the nova campus in Fort Lauderdale.
