Hey everyone I was wondering about what you thought my chances at a US MD school are. Here is a brief profile at this point after my Junior year.

32 MCAT 10-12-10
3.54 overall GPA with a 3.3 science GPA but an upward trend and As in harder science classes
NC resident
Primaries are ready to be sent out mid June
Solid LORs

ECs
-1 summer chemistry research with no pubs
-1 summer epidemiological statistics research no pubs
-500 hours at a local free clinic
-250 hours at an ENT clinic at my local hospital with extensive ENT shadowing
-100 Peds ED volunteer hours
-100 Adult ED volunteer hours at two different hospitals
-50 hours of Neuro ICU volunteer hours
-Shadowed several orthopedic surgeons, a pediatric radiologist and invasive cardiologist
-recieved the hospital voluteer award this year

I figured I would apply broadly and early this cycle and see what happens. Anybody have any ideas or pointers. I think GPA will be my weakest point.

Everything looks good. Be sure to apply broadly so that those schools that screen by GPA alone don't get you. Good luck!
