hmm..hard to say. Your numbers are fine, especially if you're applying broadly. You def could add some clinical experience like shadowing in there to make you a stronger candidate. Some people have no clinical experience and get in...some have 4.0s and 39mcats with no clinical ECs and dont get in! Its somewhat of a crapshoot (and depends on your personality, PS etc...). If your applying for the 2010 cycle, then you still have time to get in some extra EC's, so why not make yourself as strong of an applicant as possible.

I wouldn't worry so much about your stats you MCAT and GPA are fine. I also wouldn't be so concerned with "hours" spent shadowing. Try to develop a diversified application with various clinical shadowing experiences. Don't forget to really do some meaningful community service!

You just need enough clinical experience to write a personal statement, and convince your interviewer that you have made a mature and thoughtful decision to enter medicine.
