Hello all, brand new poster, but have always used this forum for advice, and now I seek for a more personal one.
I will be heading to Dental School this Fall, and I am beyond excited. I have been working at a local dental office as a DA for about a year and half and they have truly shaped my career path. I have seen a lot, learned a lot, and saved a lot of money working there, but now I feel that working there has run its course. I honestly don't find working there as enjoyable as I used to. But the dilemma is that I do enjoy the pay. I also work another part time job in retail, and look to find a replacement job if I do stop working at the office. And I also start to shadow another practice to see more dentistry within the next week. I plan to stop working completely in June to travel a bit and prepare for the move.
So do I move on from this office, or should I persevere?
