Hi SDNers,

Can someone give me advice on angle ranking. I am doing crackpat and i keep getting worse by the test. I don't know what is wrong with me. i mostly get the smaller angles wrong and the bigger angles just fine. Even when i click on the explanation tab, i dont see how one angle is smaller then the other. Any advice on how i can view these angles better? Is the actual DAT harder than crack?

Identify the larger and smaller first!! then see the m/c and cross out nonsense answers.. CrackPAt is very similar to actual exam..that was my technique hope it helps!!

When I took exam the angle ranking felt noticeably easier than CDP. My advice is to simply do as many of these type of questions as you can until you get a hang of it.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you retaking with a 20 AA, 22 TS, and 22 PAT?

20AA, 22TS isnt that competitive anymore. If you have a poor-mediocre GPA, you may need higher. Times have changed. Competition has increased.

That person is retaking because got RC 16 and QR 17..!!! Seems ridiculous but well "competition" is all now days lol

You did really well on PAT section. I hope you are right about PAT being easier on real DAT cause these 4-5 degree differences are killing me! Were the angles a bit bigger on your screen on real DAT?

Honestly, focus on all other sections of the PAT first.
Angle ranking is hit and miss, some tests it's easier than CDP, some it's harder.
If you master everything else but angles, you'll still get a 20+
