Hey guys. I am a third year in college and am planning to graduate this spring and I was wondering if you could offer some advice. I have been trying to decide if I want to go to medical school right away. It seems to be the norm but I dont think that I am really ready for it yet and there are some things I would like to do before going. For the past year I have been thinking about going into the military before going back to med school. My hope would be to become a Navy Corpsman and do BUD/S. After serving as a Seal medic for some years I wanted to perhaps go back and go to medical school. It seems like every year there are more people going to medical school that are not right out of college and even in their 30's. If I did go back I am sure that I would go back to become a Naval Doctor as well
I know this is a pretty big dream but if I decide that it is what I want to do then I will do everything I can to accomplish it. All I am asking for is advice. If you have or know someone who has done this it would be awesome to get in touch with them.
