I'm lucky enough to be starting at an MSTP this coming fall and was wondering if some more senior posters in this forum had input on how to make the most of/be successful in this next phase of life. The advice can be self-experiential or links to blogs/posts.

Pick your lab rotations wisely, talk to a lot of people before deciding. Otherwise, focus on medical school and obtaining a great Step 1 score, it will have the greatest impact on your choices of residency at the end of your training.
