Advice for internships

I'm a P1 moving on to my second year. I would like to start working this summer. I don't have any pharmacy experience besides my externships through school. What is the best way to find an internship position in the Los Angeles area? Is it okay to go door to door? Should I call around first? I've been to 4 interviews so far . . . still no luck.

How did you find your intern job? By the way, "yo fartface" is an interesting thread 🙂, but I really just need some of your advice. I know that I'm not the only person out here having a problem finding a job for the summer.

I'm in the same boat you are. I'm having a hard time finding any pharmacy jobs and I'll be a P2 this fall. One of my professors apparently said that if we needed a job she'd be able to help us, but I don't really know her well and think that might be kind of weird to ask.
