I'm currently on medicine rotation. Read through step up medicine once...though there's a lot of stuff I haven't fully remember yet. 40% done w/ mksap 2. got pre-test medicine which I haven't touched. Got like 6 wks more of medicine. i'm not sure now if i should re-read step up after finishign mksap, start on pre-test, re-do mksap, etc. or maybe pick up another book like boards/wards, whose IM section seems manageable at less than 100 pages vs 500 for step up. any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

Here's what I did and it was very efficient: I would do a question in MKSAP or pretest, then refer to step up medicine and read that topic in this book. That's pretty much all I did and over the course of a month or 2, I covered both the question books and step up a bunch of times, especially the high yield topics. Step up is long but is easy to read. I found that I could find just about any topic that was asked in the MKSAP and pretest books.
