Advice for Post-Bac Application - When to Submit?

Hey guys -

I'm in the process of applying to some post-bac programs for Fall 2013, but I wanted to get some advice before I submit any applications. I have an undergrad GPA of 3.35 overall and sGPA of 3.21, with a strong upward trend. My GPA for this semester, which I will be done with in the middle of December, will likely be >3.9. I'm wondering if anyone has advice about whether it would be more beneficial for me to get my applications in now, or to wait until my semester ends so that I can apply with a higher GPA.

MCAT: 28Q; 9BS/9PS/10VR

-Laboratory research with 2 publications, one being first author
-Calculus peer tutor/private algebra tutor
-Run an after-school science program for elementary school students
-Hospital patient visitor volunteer
-Conversational English tutor for international students
-Choir member
-Other various experiences, i.e. gave a lecture with my PI for a class, attended national research conference, etc.

I think I'd be benefited by a SMP, but just wondering if you've got advice about whether applying earlier or with a better GPA in December would better help my app. Thanks!

Always best to apply early and update them with new information as they come has been the motto. Although I was fairly certain most applications open up in Dec/Jan for Fall 2013?
