Advice for QR practice?

I find the Kaplan math word problems to be very challenging. I don't see how it's possible to finish as you have only a minute to solve each problem.

For anyone who has taken the DAT, would you kindly give advice on study guides or tips on how to improve in this area?

How was the math section on the actual DAT? Was the bulk of it word problems?

Other than word problems, what other sorts of math problems are important to know?

Kap word problem seems to be impossible to complete within the specified times. They are way difficult than real ones.

But.........
Nobody knows from which sections, areas and parts of basic college math the test will cover.

I remember there was a statistics question. I just picked the answer.
It was like asking..
average deviation within 95%...97% accuracy....I forgot how it is named....haha

And you should know some formulas that is not from test prep books.

I would work on AP (Just before Calculus section), one Prep. Then, you may get perfect score unless you are stuck in some ugly calculation.

All matter is time pressure!!

I am in Kap.
Some word problems are too easy and some literally take more than a min for the fastest solver.

I took the DAT yesterday and the math section was pretty rough. The test questions are harder than what I had seen with Kaplan and Topscore. It was probably 65% word problems!
