Hi all,
I am currently knee deep in studying for the DAT, and I decided to work through the DAT Prep Manual while I was on a road trip (I am aware the practice is not great in it, and I have been primarily using BoosterPrep, formerly DATCrusher, as my primary study tool). While working through PAT CC, I noticed a question that, by my understanding of the CC rules, is invalid. I have attached an image of the diagram (which I hope is okay!) as well as my impeccable artist representation of the top view of the structure.
I was under the impression that cubes must be connected by faces touching one another, but this structure seems to have an edge-to-edge connection.

This is my first time taking the DAT and I want to make sure I have a correct understanding of the rules for each section, and if cubes are allowed to touch edge-to-edge (contrary to the rules explained by BoosterPrep) I would love to know! 🙂

Thanks!!

EDIT: I can't figure out how to delete this post, but I figured it out! I was under the impression that all cubes must be connected via face-to-face interfaces, but I now understand that only one face has to be interfaced with another cube, therefore, this question does not violate any rules. My apologies!
