First of all congrats on achieving what you've worked so hard for. Here's some advice that I wish I had known when I first got in: Ask for a scholarship! They may say no but it never hurts. If you have multiple offers let them know that , and say I'd love to go to you school, I just can't justify X cost, is there any way you can help out. A lot of private schools have a lot of money they give out evry year. I got 10k a year by doing this and I may have gotten more if I had done it earlier. You are in the first round of acceptance they want you!

Calling them may be more personal, then follow it up with an email if they express any chance

Very curious as well. I was accepted to a private school that I really like, but the price is so high that I'm having second thoughts.

I was very interested in Case, I emailed them and expressed my interest and asked for scholarship. They said their budget this year does not allow them to offer me a scholarship. So yea, I choose my state school UF then. ^^

It's also University of Michigan so I don't want them to laugh in my face and say "okay, go somewhere else" (or at least think that). Any input would be helpful!

I would think the worst that would happen is they'd say no. If you're already in, I don't see what harm it would be to ask.

I agree with @plumerias, and in this case, I wouldn't say "I just can't justify X cost, is there any way you can help out" (as OP suggested - good advice in general but wouldn't use it for your state school), but emphasize that tuition is still expensive and if they had any way to help you via scholarships.
