Hi im from NJ ...and planning to start my NBDE part I studies , im working full time and plan to take the boards in oct or nov '07 ...was just wondering if anyone willing to guide
1) how to go about it ...esp with full time job..i mean how many hrs to start with
2) wat material is preferable i have kaplan text book from 2005 ..PART I DECKS that again a few yrs old ...is that sufficient ?
3) is anyone looking for a study partner ?
4) please give me sum positive advice how to look upto my dreamz while supporting myself as most of us would definately luv to hear those ...as its alwayz mood lifting and encourages ..if they can do it so can i 🙂

Hi, I think u need to organize a time every day (if possible) to study plus u need to study as much as possible during weeekends. Released exams is important.Rudman's is helpfull too.if possible try to get new version of decks . there is some people who have it on cd which is cheap aound $25 with all other materials. look in classified/ for sale or check on ebay. Hope this help.

Rudman's is a book with questions & answer more like released exams. it help u practise .

Hi. We're in the same boat. I'm working full time too and planning on taking nbde part 1 this year. I haven't bought any reviewers yet but planning on getting new dental decks soon.

A good friend of mine who's done with both parts 1 and 2 said that I should really concentrate with dental decks, the past exams and a couple of reference books.

Do you know if the computer based exam for part 1 is given all year round?

well from wt so many ppl hav tld me decks is enough bt its always better to keep extra reference on hand........
me plannin to give in nov too bt studies r goin really slow any tips out there other then concentrate n work hard! coz wt out hard work nothing can b done
